WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has reached an inspiring health achievement, proudly announcing that he has shed an impressive 100 pounds over the past two years. In a heartfelt social media update, Foley disclosed his current weight of 272.2 pounds, a significant drop from his previous all-time high.
A Journey of Transformation
Foley shared insights into his transformative journey, revealing that he had once weighed as much as 372 pounds back in January 2024. He also addressed a common misunderstanding about his weight loss progress, indicating that he mistakenly thought he had achieved his goal a year earlier than he actually did. "I genuinely believed that my highest weight was 379 pounds and that I reached my target when I hit 279 pounds last January," Foley explained. "However, I was actually seven pounds shy of my 100-pound goal at that time."
Strategies and Lifestyle Adjustments
The “Hardcore Legend” was open about the various strategies he employed to facilitate this remarkable weight loss. He attributed his success to a combination of medication, dietary changes, and increased physical activity. "Yes, I received some assistance through Wegovy, which played a crucial role in curbing my incessant cravings," Foley mentioned. He emphasized the importance of making smarter food choices, specifically highlighting that he now stops eating as soon as he begins to feel full, rather than waiting until he is overly stuffed. Additionally, Foley has incorporated DDP Yoga into his daily routine, further enhancing his fitness journey.
Notable Physical Enhancements and Aspirations
Foley has already begun to experience significant physical improvements since losing weight. "I’m moving around much more easily; I'm no longer winded after climbing hills and stairs," he shared enthusiastically.
Looking toward the future, Foley has set a new personal goal, expressing his desire to reach 250 pounds by his upcoming birthday. In a lighthearted moment, he playfully challenged fellow wrestler Tommy Dreamer to an "epic stipulation match," where the loser would have to remove their t-shirt, showcasing his newfound confidence.
This news is incredibly uplifting, and we wish Mick the best of luck as he continues on his weight loss journey!
